We have an 'Agatha' website section! find out what the connection is and how you can get involved.
In 2017 we investigated the feasibility of a new waiting room and community hub. The final report is available here. Three options all have a cafe, community rooms, a toilet and direct access from Brabyns Brow. We are consulting about which should be taken forward. We are excited! Contact us if you have ideas or want to get involved.
To help our campaigning, we carried out our third annual passenger count in November 2017. Email us if you'd like the report
We also surveyed passengers in July 2017 so we know what improvements people want to see at the station. Making the crossing of Brabyns Brow(outside the station) safer and more convenient came out as a high priority, as did toilets and a café.
See NEWS section for more details.
See our 'history' section for a 1960 picture of a bus at the station - if you can bear the excitement!
We are a friendly community group formed in 2014 to improve and promote Marple station. For more information, ring Pete on 07505 22 1405.
We won 2016 'Most Improved Station in Cheshire'. Our achievements are a great reflection on our enthusiastic band of volunteers and helpers - see NEWS pages.
