Photo competition winners

These are the winners in the 2017 photo competition run by the two 'Friends' groups at Marple and Rose Hill station.​
Adult Winner: Nigel Valentine. September 19th 2017 as a Northern service from New Mills Central crosses the viaduct on the approach to Marple Station and catches the reflection after recent rainfall. Camera Panasonic Gx7 with 14 to 42 mm lens.
Junior winner: Bradley Langton. 8 January 2017. Romiley station looking towards Manchester: signal box with the rear of a freight train passing by it. Camera used was a Nikon D3300B
